Families travelling with children should stop in at the Haier Science Museum that is mainly oriented towards younger children.

Other attractions worth a visit in Qingdao include the Tsingtao Brewery where tourists can explore an actual beer bottling plant. There are also some informative exhibits on display for the benefit of visitors to the plant.
